Ana Rosa Bobadilla is a member of González Calvillo’s Litigation Gruoup. Ms. Bobadilla has a wide experience of more than ten years as Attorney of Law into the prosecution of many types of judicial and extra-judicial procedures.

Practice Focus
As a litigator, Ms. Bobadilla has been actively involved with successful results in various relevant trials, mainly focus on civil, commercial, family, criminal and administrative Law. She also has been involved on some relevant “Concurso Mercantil” (Insolvency) procedures, the study and analysis of general litigation matters, noting that various litigation portfolio audits for different public and private entities as well as in advising and representing parties on alternative procedures for resolving disputes.

Representative Legal Matters
• Participation in the legal team responsible for the promotion of various civil, commercial and criminal procedures, promoted by major banks and investment companies, both public and private, against various individuals and entities who, during the processing of these trials, held a relevant character in the economic and / or political level. Recently, Ms. Bobadilla has been part or the legal team responsible of the prosecution of the civil trial promoted by one big international corporation against “Fonatur” in which was obtained the nullity of some irregular real estate purchase contracts related with five lots of land in Cancún, Quintana Roo.

• Representation of several creditors in some “Concurso Mercantil” (Insolvency) proceedings, as example, the representation of the main preferred creditor into the “Concurso Mercantil” promoted against "Grupo Tribasa" Corp.

• Representation of the plaintiff or defendant in various criminal procedures (local and federal), mainly related to white collar crimes.

• Participation in Legal Audits requested by various public and private entities, among which are: the “Banco de México”, the “Instituto Federal Para la Protección al Ahorro Bancario” (IPAB) and the “Banco Nacional de Crédito Rural” (Banrural)

• Participation in the working group responsible for the defense of “Banco Nacional de Comercio Exterior” (Bancomext), in the Arbitration related with challenging procedure promoted against an international sale of a public company.

• Also, in 2011, Ms. Bobadilla was responsible for the successful processing Pro Bono of the "Reconocimiento de Inocencia” (Recognition of Innocence) procedure which led to the release, by granting a pardon granted by the President of Mexico, for a former manager of a known automotive brand, who was unjustly imprisoned for over four years and was sentenced to serve a term of more than eleven years in prison, noting that, according to official information available, this was only the second case during the President Calderon government, in achieving a favorable result in the processing of an appeal of this nature, which probably will inspire the inclusion of some reforms in the draft on the new ‘Código de Procedimientos Penales para el Distrito Federal’.

Education and Experience
Ms. Bobadilla obtained a Law Degree, having studied at the “Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México” and the “Universidad del Valle de México”. In 2004, she took a degree in Amparo and Constitutional Controversies given by the Federal Judicial Council, in conjunction with a private Association of Graduates in Law. In 2005, Ms. Bobadilla participated in a Seminar of Legal Reasoning given by the Supreme Court of Justice.
