Eduardo Miravete is a seasoned international intellectual property lawyer with expertise in all aspects of intellectual property, including consulting litigation, assignments, licenses and franchise agreements. For over 15 years he has demonstrated experience working closely with large law firms around the world, as well as with several prominent multinationals, several of which are considered as Fortune 500. Mr. Miravete is highly skilled in the acquisition and divestment of intellectual property assets.
Specialized in intellectual property matters such as assignments, mergers, acquisitions, franchises and patent enforcement. Has led several international due diligence reviews for the acquisition and/or sale of all types of intellectual property rights. Has worked on developing strategies, advising on tax issues, carrying out civil, administrative and criminal litigation, developing measures to protect intellectual property rights and prevent piracy, preparing, filing, maintaining and enforcing all types of intellectual property rights, national and international, protecting confidential information through non-disclosure agreements, obtaining health registrations with the Department of Health for food, beverages, drugs and other products, as well as domain names.
Education and Experience
Eduardo Miravete has a Master of Law degree from the University of Liverpool, England and has obtained several postgraduate degrees in Intellectually Property Law, a Diploma in Corporate Law from Universidad Iberoamericana and obtained his law degree from Universidad Anahuac. He was Legal Manager for AstraZeneca from 2011 to 2012 and associate with Basham, Ringe y Correa from 2000-2011. Mr. Miravete is fluent in Spanish and English.
