Eugenia Castañeda Gómez Mont is a junior associate of González Calvillo´s Corporate, Mergers and Acquisitions and Real Estate Practice Group. Ms. Castañeda has participated in several transactions regarding the above-mentioned practice areas.

Ms. Castañeda has advised several clients in real estate matters such as lease agreements, purchase and sale of industrial buildings; she also has a lot of expertise in the day to day corporate matters, foreign investment, purchase and sale agreements of membership interests or shares, construction agreements, finance documents such as pledge agreements and loan agreements, among others.

Promotora Reside, S.A. de C.V. and Daymoon Desarrolladores, S. de R.L. de C.V. in real estate development projetcs.

• Corporate counsel for more than 15 subsidiaries of LaSalle Invetsment Management, Inc

• Counsel with negotiation with LaSalle Investment Inc regarding several lease agreements of industrial buildings all around Mexico.

• Counsel of several international transactions regarding mergers and acquisitions, including Landesk Software de Mexico, S. de R.L. de C.V., Sterigenics Holdings, Inc. Saturn Electronics & Engineering, Inc.

• Counsel of Fox Interactive Media Mexico, S. de R.L. in its liquidation process.

• Counsel of Dura-line México, S.A. de C.V. in its merger process with Arnco de México, S.A. de C.V.

• Represented Banque Safdie, S.A. during the closing process of its representative office in Mexico.

Ms. Castañeda obtained a J.D. degree with honors from the Universidad Iberoamericana in 2010. She was also a clerk in Garcia Alcocer, S.C., law firm specialized in litigation matters.
Ms. Castañeda has a degree in Strategic Policy Analysis from the Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas A.C. (“CIDE”)
