Lucia Fernandez has provided legal counsel to companies in transactions related to corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, franchises, and procurement, infrastructure and governmental services.


Representative Legal Matters
• Part of the legal team involved in the sale of one a business units of a transnational company, responsibilities included, but were not limited to, revision of the Asset Purchase Agreement and related agreements, drafting appendixes and exhibits, and pre and post-closing activities.

• Acts as an external legal counsel in the execution of the Service Agreement for the Project “Centro Cultural Mexiquense Bicentenario” in the State of Mexico;

Education and Experience
Ms. Fernández earned a Master of Laws Degree from New York University School of Law and a J.D. Degree from Universidad de Monterrey. She was also an exchange student in Université Panteón-Assas. Before joining González Calvillo, Ms. Fernández worked in the Legal Departments of Copamex, S.A. de C.V. and Vitro Corporativo, S.A. de C.V.
