María Guadalupe Ashby Díaz joined Gonzalez Calvillo, S.C. in 2011, and collaborates as associate of the firm. Ms. Ashby has experience mainly in general corporate practice, mergers and acquisitions and financing transactions, including project finance.  She has been involved in advising private and public institutions as well as banking institutions.

Practice Focus
Ms. Ashby has been involved in numerous real estate transactions, financings and acquisitions and her practice includes the preparation of diverse commercial agreements in a variety of industries.  She has been in charge of the day to day corporate affairs and bookkeeping of several privately held companies including Mexican subsidiaries of multinational entities.

Before working with Gonzalez Calvillo, S.C., Ms. Ashby worked in: (i) Mijares, Angoitia, Cortés y Fuentes, S.C. (2006-2009) and (ii) Cortés y Núñez Sarrapy, S.C. (2010- 2011) which later merged with Gonzalez Calvillo, S.C.
