The Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare (”STPS”) published, on May 10, 2020, the bulletin 031/2020 with a template for the Protocol to Prevent Gender Discrimination and Treat Violence and Sexual Harassment cases.
The foregoing as part of the obligations derived of the Labor Reform, which companies shall comply with since May 2, 2019.
As well as the rest of the labor obligations, the protocol will be subject of verification by the STPS. In case of breach the Authority would impose a fine between $4,344 to $434,400 Mexican pesos for each worker at the workplace.
