For the sustainability of any business, a future oriented and common vision is required and we at Gonzalez Calvillo are certain of it. Over the past 33 years we have relied in a close knit of partners and counsel, which has kept us together and has fostered our firm’s selective and steady growth.

With the aim of moving forward into the future, and for us as a firm to continue challenging the status quo, to better understand our clients and to provide creative and efficient legal solutions, we are convinced that the vision of new generations is required behind the steering wheel.

Therefore, as part of our organic growth we are pleased to announce the promotion of five of our senior associates, two to partners and three to counsel.

Bernardo Reyes Retana Krieger – partner
Capital and Debt Markets, Corporate Finance, M&A

Daniel Guaida Azar – partner
Project Finance, Corporate Finance, Fintech, M&A

Lucía Fernández González – counsel
Data Privacy, Franchising, IT, Consumer Protection

Carlos Fernando Castilla Cruz – counsel
Administrative & Constitutional Litigation, Environment

Enrique Muñoz Guízar – counsel
Environment, Lifesciences & Health Care, Consumer Protection

These exceptional lawyers have been working with us for a long time and are all visible players in their fields of practice who have proven their leadership and collaboration as team players, as well as their human quality and talent.

Partner promotions are effective as of January 1, 2021 and counsel’s as of July 1, 2020. These promotions bring us to a total headcount of 21 partners and eight counsel.

This new generation of partners and counsel will also be key in the continuous training and development of the firm’s younger talent, ensuring that our skills and experience blend together to keep fulfilling our clients’ needs the best possible way.
